Laura Brewis possibly spends too much time thinking about books. She spent many years studying them at Newcastle University and now writes on various cultural activities for Mslexia, the Journal and the Metro. She works at New Writing North/ Mslexia as their Project Manager and is the co-ordinator of Creative Communities North East. One day Laura dreams of opening the finest independent bookshop in the region

Laura mostly enjoys long walks on the beach, dancing, cinema in the afternoons, cups of tea  and trying to ferment a feminist revolution.
